This was my first time competing at this competition and a long journey preceeded my first shoot on the saturday, arriving travel weary I started the first of two 60 shot matches over the week end culminating in the Olympic final placed 5th resulting in me going up one place and finishing in 4th place.

Welsh Open Cardiff 2011
This was an open event where the Olympic team were present for their qualifying events and a fantastic week end was enjoyed by all.

World Cup USA Columbus Fort Benning 2011
A superb tournament with fantastic facilities. Fort Benning is world renowned.

Police Shooting Championships Bisley 2011
At my second competition I was completely alone, a nerve wracking experience but an extremely interesting and challenging day. Entering Bisley is like returning to an old british colonial country an experience not to be missed.

International Shooting Competition in Stoke Mandeville (birthplace of the Paralympics) 26th -31st September 2011
After a brand new classification and some last minute adjustments to my wheelchair using a hammer and some ingenuity on the part of my team manager I was able to compete in the P2 Women's 40 shot competition. Having never competed before this was a totaly new experience and the pressure was certainly present.
Results:
Ann Wild placed 5th going into the final with a Paralympic MQS of 353
Final ten shot score: - 90.6
Final standing:- Joint 5th place
Nationals at Stoke Mandeville
This was the beginning of my shooting experiences and I managed to put in a stable and sturdy performance.
